Some accounts of Maori arriving in Aotearoa tell a story that it was by chance.  However it is known now that these journeys were in fact acts of self determination, intentional and well navigated. For some it was hard to accept that Maori were civilised and self determined.  For Maori it is important to acknowledge and remember that we are in fact not lost for we are all seeds sewn in Rangiatea.
